For users on slow connections, a light version of the Webmail would be very handy. This could coincide with the Mobile version:

To Make GMX Best Posted by splendid to Miscellaneous, 24 Aug 09 at 19:22
Hello
As we all have gone through many webmail services, I found GMX really fabulous mail. Its really ‘Advanced, Savvy, Different’. Good features as IMAP POP3, Import Export, Mail Collector, widgets and good Spam filter, file storage and sharing with friends. New look plus design. Everything is marvelous. All the features are outstanding, that haven’t been seen together in any other free webmail yet.

But still, there are a few which are avoiding many users (including me), to use GMX freely and rely on it.

Those points are as below:
1. GMX is slow and unable to load messages.
2. Trim GMX logo so that [....]

Home Page Layout - Good morning/ Customise Boxes Posted by vchealy to Miscellaneous, 4 May 09 at 10:25
The GMX Header has alot of dead space within it.

I would prefer the Good Morning Box to appear there.

The Customise your GMX should get pushed into the Side Bar.

As it is a rarely used item, or should be by most people, once you have your settings as you want them.

These items moved would increase the viewing pane area. something I am interested in. Especially if I want a large selection of widgets on my home page [....]

Sync Support Posted by grajohnson to Miscellaneous, 27 Aug 09 at 07:32
Hello,

I believe that in order for GMX to be truly successful, it needs to support calendar and contact synchronizing to multiple programs/devices. For example, Microsoft Outlook, Apple iCal and Address Book, iPhone (built in calendar and contacts), Palm Pre, etc. This is the only thing keeping me from completely switching over to GMX.

Windows Mobile/iPhone App needed Posted by bradavon to Miscellaneous, 1 Apr 09 at 15:21
A Windows Mobile and iPhone app would be very handy, with Push Mail and Calendar/Contacts Sync.

A Light/Cut-down: http://www.gmx.com/brainstorm/ideatorrent/idea/39/

OR:

Mobile version: http://www.gmx.com/brainstorm/ideatorrent/idea/8/

Should take precedence over this. [....]

Cleaning up Brainstrom Posted by zzz23 to Miscellaneous, 23 Jul 09 at 15:03
The Brainstorm section seems to be getting more “ideas” that are not related to the GMX services. It would be nice if an “idea” hits a certain level of negative votes it would be removed or hidden in the popular ideas section. [....]

removal Posted by Txsix to Miscellaneous, 27 Aug 09 at 22:18
Please remove negative ideas once they recieve a set amount of negative points. 90% of the ideas on here are dumb and it takes up way to much of a searchers time to find and vote on the really good ideas. Thanks.
