My account has been blocked now for 6 weeks. I am not the only person in this situation. I have not received any response or help or explanations from support@gmx.com, despite numerous emails and forum postings.
First, you need to REALLY improve your support. Its the weak link in what would otherwise be a real contender for the best email.
Secondly, you need to provide some explanation. Was it blocked because someonme tried to hack into the email address and it failed the password to often?
Was it blockled because of spam abuse? Well, thats not the case for me, seeing as I only sent about 10 emails (I use the account for reading, mainly.) Then you need to send a warning before simply blocking.
Seeing as this seems to happen to quite a lot of people, how about allowing some kind of automatic handing? If the reaons if that someone was attempting to break into the account - it should be enough to close for an hour or so... ...or at most force the person to change the password (which I tried, and succeeded to do, by the way, but it didn't help with my issue....)
I have tried twice to open an account and I get to the point of trying to get the email and the loading for gmx never stops going around in circles and getting to the email.
I tried the second email because the first was taken, by ME, and that did the same thing. I would like to have my first email address and password and disable the second which is very much like it. Can you help me create that first email address I just signed in here with?
