attachments from file storage

When clicking "attach file" from a "new mail", I think we should have the hoice to select a file from teh file storage.
I must currently download it from the FS to my desktop and then attach it.

Similarly, the function in the FS "send via email" just doesn't work. (It doesn't start any process at all).
