Share 5Gb Webmail Storage across File Storage

Are there any plans to share the 5Gb across Webmail and Webspace? Instead of the current 1Gb shared limit. The 1Gb limit is restrictive.

Otherwise, simply increasing Webspace to match would be even better.

What is the file size limitation? I wasn't aware there was one. Maybe using WebDAV I can get around this:

Damn, this is for free and the guys at the gmx.com are doing a great job. Would you maybe pay them for this and your extra storage???

This is a suggestion forum, not a moaning one. Please go elsewhere if you wish to have a moan. GMX have asked for our input. No one is forcing them to action every suggestion.

If there is a 5Gb space already carved out for an account, why not share across?

GMX is supposed to be good because they keep improving.

agreed, with current limitation Dropbox is far far better. GMX should do sth.

This would be an excellent idea! I stopped using GMX File Storage after I hit the 1GB limit.

I also think this is a great idea, instead of having 5GB set for email and 1GB set for storage it would be really great to have a single limit of 6GB that you can choose to fill as you wish and as your needs change.
