The striker pulled up and looked in some pain after hitting the Reds' third goal in the impressive 3-0 win at Bayern in the pre-season friendly.
He was immediately substituted amid concerns his injury problems had struck again but Sturridge has reassured fans it was nothing serious and he feels in great shape after enjoying a full summer training so far.
He said: "It just a little bit of tension kicking off. I've done a lot of running and a lot of work. We train on the morning of the games. I think it's just a bit of fatigue to be honest. I'll be OK.
"I'm feeling great, I've put in a lot of work, I trained a lot in the summer in LA. I haven't missed many sessions here, they're looking after me, we have done triple sessions and things like that.
"I've trained nearly every session. I'm feeling the best I've felt for a little while and I'm looking forward to the season and hopefully we can have some success."
Goals from Sadio Mane, new signing Mohamed Salah and Sturridge's late effort sealed the win over the Bundesliga champions and Liverpool now face Atletico Madrid in the 'final' of the Audi Cup tournament at the Allianz Arena on Wednesday evening after the La Liga side saw off Napoli in the first game.
