The centre maintained his recent impressive form as he was again the star man for the Wallabies in their latest Rugby Championship encounter in Perth.
Beale was absent for his country's Test games for nearly two years due to several injuries, but he is clearly now back to full fitness and his third try in as many games earned him the man-of-the-match award in the draw against the Springboks.
Cheika was impressed with what he saw from Beale and admits others in his squad need to try and replicate the 28-year-old's form as Australia aim for their first win in this year's Championship when they take on Argentina next on September 16.
"For a guy who hasn't played footy since the end of May, he's just came in, played three or four games of footy and killed it, has carved it up," Cheika said about Beale.
"We all need to just have that same attitude around wanting it a lot and staying at it."
The Wallabies lost back-to-back games against the All Blacks before Saturday's draw and, following next week's clash with the Pumas, they take on the Proteas again on September 30 before finishing with another match against Argentina on October 7.
