Kieran Keane claims constant Connacht rise

Kieran Keane senses "constant improvement" from his Connacht side after confirming eight changes for Friday's game against Munster.

Keane has named his starting XV for Friday's showdown at the Sportsground in the Guinness Pro14, where John Muldoon will return as captain.

The Connacht coach has also brought in Kieran Marmion, Ultan Dillane, Finlay Bealham, Tom McCartney, Tom Farrell, Jarrad Butler and Cian Kelleher, while

Niyi Adeolokun is back in the 23-man squad following his recent injury.

Keane is looking forward to the provincial derby clash and believes his players are up for the game.

He said on the Connacht website: "There has been constant improvement from the lads, which has been refreshing for us.

"It has become pretty clear to me these local derbies are really important to the players, and they have been putting their hands up because they really want to play, so it brings excitement.

"I am excited by the occasion as much as they are."
