Aden Flint signs new Bristol City contract

Bristol City defender Aden Flint has been handed a new contract which could keep him at Ashton Gate until the summer of 2021.

Flint, who joined the Robins from Swindon in June 2013, has made 37 appearances and scored eight goals to date this season.

Head coach Lee Johnson told "Aden has been in terrific form this season and this new contract is a reward for his performances and efforts for the team."

The 28-year-old scored 15 goals as the club won the Sky Bet League One title and Johnstone's Paint Trophy during the 2014-15 campaign, earning himself the player of the year award which he retained the following season.
