Windows 10 Settings app getting update

Windows 10 is reportedly set to get a new Settings app with the upcoming Sun Valley update.

The interface - which was first introduced over eight years ago with Windows 8 - is said to be poised for a makeover based on Microsoft's new design language.

As reported by Windows Latest, this means a proper dark mode is on the way alongside colourful icons, with new icons set for various core options.

Although the Settings app isn't getting a major overhaul itself, users will benefit from a reorganised layout with a navigation menu.

Meanwhile, it's said the updated app will introduce new options, including personalising your touch keyboard and the ability to have separate virtual desktops for each monitor.
