Tyson Fury tells Anthony Joshua to be patient for a fight

Tyson Fury has told Anthony Joshua to "wait his turn" for a fight.

An all-British bout between Fury and Joshua has been proposed but the Gypsy King would rather focus on the challenge of Oleksandr Usyk before giving any thought to his compatriot.

The WBC heavyweight world champion told reporters: "The way I look at it is - Joshua's a dosser and he's gotta wait his turn.

"Because he had his chance with Usyk and he lost fair and square.

"I'm not sure who witnessed that fight, I'm not sure where you were, maybe you were on holiday.

"But he actually did already lose to Usyk, not once but twice. So that puts him at the back of the queue. You can't just overlook Usyk."

The heavyweight unification bout between Fury and Usyk will take place in Saudi Arabia on May 18 after being delayed from February when Fury sustained a cut in training and the Brit insists that he is in "fantastic shape" despite the injury scare.

He said: "At first I was a little depressed, for the first day or so, but afterwards, like all things in life, I realised God’s timing is impeccable, perfect. It’s not late, it’s not early, it’s bang on time. It wasn’t my time to fight then, but it is going to be my time on May 18.

"I’m in fantastic shape. I’m having a fantastic training camp and have got a good team around me, everything is going to plan. I’m working very hard, I’ve got my dad [John Fury] in camp this time, so I’ve got my secret weapon. We’ve got a full circus camp, so can’t do any more really."
