Novak Djokovic eyes dual Paris success this summer

Novak Djokovic is targeting double success in Paris this summer.

The Serbian tennis legend is bidding to retain his French Open crown and add an Olympic Gold Medal to his collection at Roland Garros this year and he is hopeful that his game will peak for the important events in the coming months.

Djokovic said: "I'm preparing myself, my body to be ready for, particularly for Roland Garros, Wimbledon, Olympic Games.

"That's the block that is most important block of the tournaments of the year for me. I'm intending on playing in Rome [at the Italian Open in mid-May]. So I hope I can be there and can play get myself ready. This year has been a bit different for me, the start, still finding the best level of tennis. Hopefully that can come in Roland Garros."

Djokovic is yet to triumph at the Olympics during his storied career and is determined to make the most of his opportunity in Paris as it could be his final chance to win gold.

The world number one said: "Who knows if I'll get another chance to play at the Olympic Games? They only come every four years. I said recently that I would really want to play at least till the LA Olympic Games. But you never know at this stage what can happen or how far I can go. So I'll try to use this opportunity as best possible."
