Jacob Skov Olesen has MAsters goal

Jacob Skov Olesen wants to win the Masters.

The 27-year-old golfer turned professional in November 2024 and has a number of big career goals in mind.

Asked the last thing he’d like written about him, he told Bunkered magazine: “That I took care of the people around me and that I’m an Open champion.

“That would be nice.

“If there’s one tournament I want to win most, it would probably be The Masters because of the longevity of it.

“Outside of that, definitely The Open.”

The Dane admitted he can get frustrated on the course and has thrown his clubs in anger far more than he should.

Asked the last time he threw a club, he said: “In Holland, about two-and-a-half weeks ago.

“I hit a poor shot and just got mad.

“I try not to throw clubs, but I probably do it too much.”

Jacob began playing golf when he was five years old and it was a “big thing” when he broke par for the first time because it had taken some time.

Discussing when he first broke par, he said: “I can’t remember exactly but it was a big thing because it took me a while.

“My best friend had broken par quite a lot before me too.

“I want to say I was around 13.”
