Callum McManaman may yet have Albion future

Callum McManaman could still have a future at West Brom after making a surprise appearance against Burton in Wednesday's friendly.

The winger was introduced as a sub against the Championship outfit this week despite speculation linking him with a move away from the Hawthorns this summer.

Boss Tony Pulis was believed to be looking to move the former Wigan man on and there has been interest in him from Championship clubs.

However, after he surprisingly played against the Brewers, Pulis admitted his future is up in the air.

"We'll see," Pulis said when asked about McManaman's future. "Callum is desperate to play. We'll see what happens in the (transfer) window then we'll take it from there."

The 26-year-old did not play at all for the Baggies last season and spent the second half on loan at Sheffield Wednesday, where he made 12 appearances but just two starts in the Championship.
