Spurs fire Dele Alli warning

Tottenham have warned rival clubs that Dele Alli will not be sold this summer, even if a bid of £150million is launched.

Alli got the season off to a perfect start with a goal in Tottenham's 2-0 victory over Newcastle on Sunday and reports have suggested that Spurs could have to field offers before the closure of the transfer window.

Both Barcelona and Manchester City have been heavily linked, and would have the funds to finance a deal, but reports now claim that Spurs chairman Daniel Levy has no intention of cashing in even if a mammoth offer is made.

Danny Rose's comments regards the pay structure at Tottenham has kicked off suggestions that the club's top stars, including Alli, may seek a better deal elsewhere, but Levy is adamant they are going nowhere.

The same can be said of Rose, who will not be allowed to leave, even if the reports claiming that Chelsea are ready to bid £50million turn out to be correct.
