The Tigers kick off their new campaign against Bath on Saturday and are set to premiere some new faces amongst their backs, with the returning George Ford set to line up against his old club while Jonny May will also debut.
Matt O'Connor's side are also set to be boosted by the return of their first-choice centre pairing, with Toomua and Manu Tuilagi now fit following long-term injury lay-offs.
With all four being international-class players, the former Wallaby is understandably excited.
Having enjoyed a decent pre-season, the 27-year-old is confident it will not take long for the talent between nine and 15 at Welford Road to start producing fireworks.
"We've got George Ford and Jonny May in the back-line, Manu for me is probably like a new player as well so I think there is some quality out there," Toomua said.
"I don't have a crystal ball but we have started well. The real stuff starts this week and I guess that is where you show what you are made of.
"My job is pretty easy. I find that when you go from a club team to a Test team, you don't have to focus on other guys so much. In this side I've got all these Test players outside me so you can just focus on your job at hand and that makes it easy."
