Kristian Dacey return boost for Blues

Cardiff Blues hooker Kristian Dacey will make his return from a groin injury in this weekend's Guinness PRO14 clash at Connacht.

The 28-year-old, who was part of the British & Irish Lions squad for the drawn series in New Zealand earlier this year, has not featured in Cardiff's opening three games of the new season but he is available for Saturday.

"Kristian will be involved this weekend and it's great to see him back in rugby. We know what a great player he is in terms of what he did on the summer tour," said the Blues' head coach Danny Wilson.

"He has worked his way up in the pecking order and we have missed having the bulk of hookers to choose from."

However, Dacey's fellow Wales international, Gethin Jenkins, is still on the sidelines and is not expected to be back for Cardiff until mid-October as he recovers from a knee injury.
