The Danish defender suffered a knee injury in August during Celtic's Champions League qualifier against Rosenborg, but believes he will be back in action soon.
"I think we are aiming to get me fully fit for games as soon as possible," Sviatchenko told the Glasgow Evening Times.
"The international break was convenient because it let me get good sessions and then a bit of rest and keep on looking to the next game."
And in a separate interview with Celtic TV, he added: "I cannot wait to get back on track. It has taken some time. Just get the chance to work out again and be available to the squad. Right now, the team is doing well and it is about keeping playing on that level. There is a lot of competition in my position, which is positive because it keeps everyone sharp and on the edge.
"It has been hard to get my fitness back. This is after several months out. You have to feel the teammates and where to go. It's just gonna be fine."
