Whilst some areas of the media make a big song and dance about the transfer window, Brunt says the players just get on with their jobs and then hope they have the players to achieve their goals for the remainder of the season.
The Baggies are said to be after a striker and an attacking midfielder before the January window shuts next Wednesday, while there is a threat that Jonny Evans could be snatched away, but Brunt is not too concerned by the off-field business.
"It's no different to any other transfer window," Brunt told the Express and Star. "Players come and go.
"As a squad you want to keep your best players to give you the best chance of winning football matches because we all want to win enough games to make sure we stay in the division at the end of the season."
