The 22-year-old Old Trafford academy graduate has enjoyed his season on loan at Valencia, making 28 appearances for the Spanish outfit who have already indicated to the Red Devils they would like to make the winger's Los Che stay a permanent one.
Pereira, however, is someone the United coaching staff still feel could make the grade in Manchester, with Jose Mourinho receiving regular updates on his La Liga showings.
The Brazilian starlet has made just six senior appearances for United and is in a rush to progress his career so does not want to be sent out on loan again next season.
United would like to retain the player but won't stand in his way if a club is now ready to meet with their £10m valuation, with a possible buy-back option also likely to be stipulated.
Pereira joined United at the age of 16 from PSV Eindhoven and has just 12 months remaining on his deal, which Valencia are hoping to leverage an acceptable price on.
