McCall agrees Saracens extension

Saracens director of rugby Mark McCall has extended his stay at Allianz Park after winning the Premiership title.

McCall has been part of the set-up with Saracens since 2009 but didn't step into his current role until the 2010-11 season.

Saracens have been dominant domestically and in Europe during his time at the helm, having won four of the last seven Premiership titles, while they also picked up back-to-back European Cups in 2016 and 2017.

Defence coach Alex Sanderson, performance director Phil Morrow, backs coach Kevin Sorrell, skills coach Joe Shaw, forwards coach Ian Peel and kicking coach Dan Vickers have all joined McCall in signing deals which run until 2022.

"It's great news that they have all re-signed," Saracens chairman Nigel Wray told the club's official website.

"They're a team within a team, a group of friends together - they're my friends."
