The video game, which will see players control the gorilla as he embarks on a mission to recover banana-shaped diamonds from apes, has been developed for the newly released Nintendo Switch 2 console, and fans will get more information about it during the Nintendo Direct - an online presentation series about upcoming projects - on June 18.
According to the announcement on the Nintendo Today app, players will be treated to "roughly 15 minutes of information about the upcoming Nintendo Switch 2 game" - which is set to be released on July 17.
It will be streamed on the official Nintendo YouTube and Twitch channels from 6AM PT / 9AM ET.
