Google AI Plus launches in 35 new countries, including the U.S.

Google has expanded its Google AI Plus subscription to 35 new countries and territories, including the U.S.

The rollout brings AI Plus to every region where Google’s AI plans are available, following an initial international launch last year.

In the U.S., Google AI Plus is priced at $7.99 per month, undercutting the company’s higher-tier AI Pro plan, which costs $19.99.

To encourage adoption, Google is offering a limited-time promotion that halves the price for new subscribers during the first two months.

Existing Google One Premium 2TB subscribers in supported countries will automatically receive AI Plus benefits at no extra cost over the coming days.

The plan bundles together a wide range of Google’s latest AI-powered products.

Subscribers gain enhanced access to advanced models such as Gemini 3 Pro and Nano Banana Pro within the Gemini app, alongside tools like Deep Research and limited access to Google’s Veo 3.1 video generation model.

AI Plus also includes 200GB of Google One storage for Drive, Photos and Gmail, which can be shared with up to five family members.

Beyond chat-based AI, Google is positioning AI Plus as a creative and productivity toolkit.

Users get access to Flow, the company’s AI filmmaking platform, with monthly credits for generating cinematic video scenes, as well as NotebookLM for AI-assisted research, writing and audio overviews.

The subscription also unlocks Gemini-powered features across Workspace apps such as Gmail and Google Vids, and offers early access to Gemini integrations in Chrome.

Google AI Plus is now available across major markets including the U.S., UK, Japan, Canada, Australia, South Korea, New Zealand, Israel and Saudi Arabia.
