Apple drops immersive 3D Miami Grand Prix experience into Maps

Apple has given its Maps app a turbo‑charged Formula 1 upgrade — and Miami is the latest stop.

The tech giant has rolled out a full 3D recreation of the Miami International Autodrome, turning the entire Grand Prix venue into an interactive digital model ahead of race week.

Fans can now zoom around the circuit and see grandstands, The Marina, the Finish Line and even the Pit Building rebuilt in sharp 3D.

Apple has packed in tiny details too, from the shape of the corners to the striping on the curbs, making the track look almost game‑ready.

It’s all part of Apple’s growing F1 push.

The company launched its first enhanced Maps experience for the Australian Grand Prix earlier this year and promised more circuits would follow.

For anyone heading to the race in person, Apple has added city guides and hyperlocal tips, pointing fans to food, shopping and hangout spots across Miami — plus recommendations right next to the track.

During race week, Maps will also show gates, entrances, bridges, toilets, water stations and other essentials, making it easier to navigate the chaos.

New for this season, Apple TV subscribers can stream every F1 race for free, cementing the company’s bid to become a major player in the sport.
