Amazon Alexa can play baby making music

Amazon's Alexa can now play "baby making music" on command.

A new feature rolled out with the voice service allows you to ask for music to accompany various tasks including cooking, cleaning and eating, as well as play music to set the mood during intimate times.

You can say things like "Alexa, play sexy jazz music" as well as "Alexa, play classical music for sleeping" and "Alexa, play rap music for getting pumped".

However, if you're not sure what genre you'd like to listen to, Alexa will choose appropriate tunes for you if you say things like "Alexa, play baby-making music", "Alexa, play music for nap time" and "Alexa, play music for taking a bath".

The service works by using Amazon Prime Music, which is included with a Prime membership, and Amazon Music Unlimited and relies on Amazon's music experts to select and curate the playlists.

For those who haven't got it yet, Amazon Music Unlimited costs $3.99 or £3.99 a month for compatible Alexa devices.

It comes after Amazon unveiled the Dash Wand, a kitchen assistant which helps you order your groceries to your door.

The electronic commerce company have developed their Dash Wand to work with their intelligent personal assistant device Alexa to allow the user to shop via AmazonFresh and Amazon.com.

They write on their website: "Dash Wand is a wifi enabled kitchen assistant that helps you shop AmazonFresh and millions of everyday essentials on Amazon.com.

"Say it or scan a barcode. It's added to your shopping cart. Just say "paper towels". Water-resistant, durable design, and magnetic so you can stick it on your fridge."
