Krabi Island promises fun for all

Krabi Island has been named the most popular destination within Thailand for tourists using TripAdvisor and it is easy to understand why.

This wonderful island has something for everyone - whether you like relaxing at the beach or exploring nature's best examples of flora and fauna.

Just an hour and a half flight away from Thailand's capital of Bangkok, Krabi promises white sandy beaches that stretch for miles. There are various diving packages if you want to take a dip in the sea and admire the beautiful coral reefs. To make the most of your time there, opt for a speedboat scuba tour, which gets you to the various diving sites far faster than a normal boat. There are options to visit the likes of Ao Phra Nang Islands as well as the Phi Phi Islands Marine National Park.

For the more daring visitors, have a go at the rock climbing on Railay Beach. There are courses for beginners as well as ones for those who have more expert knowledge, with all generations regularly spotted scaling up the rocky face of the cliffs. Equipment is all provided and there are half day or full day courses, starting at roughly 1,000 THB (around £23) each.

For those who prefer to take it easy on their travels, there is a wonderful and unique spa on Ao Nang beach that offers Traditional Thai massages as well as herbal body scrubs which they say calms nerves and redirects energy.

And if you want to push the boat out, why not treat yourself to a private spa suite. Enjoy your very own steam room and plunge pool before taking a snooze in your private spa suite. Next on the menu is a body scrub before an aromatherapy massage as well as your choice of an aromatherapy facial or Himalayan facial.
