What you wear on holiday can affect your overall mood.

A global study by Booking.com - which quizzed 21,500 global travellers from 29 countries - has found that nearly half of respondents felt it was important to look their best whilst they were abroad, with 48 per cent citing it as really important and 57 per cent pay close attention to their appearance every single day on holiday.

And a third of people (30 per cent) have a desire to dress better than their friends or family on vacation and pack accordingly so they can do this.

Two in five people also admitted that they work hard to look good so they can post the pictures on social media, with 39 per cent revealing their travel wardrobe is the secret to them having a lot of confidence on holiday.

And changing your style whilst on holiday can have a long term effect on what you choose to wear, with 47 per cent of people inspired to make changes to their personal style after enjoying some time abroad.
