Caroline Dubois vows to 'go after' Terri Harper until the pair fight

Caroline Dubois will "go after" Terri Harper until the pair fight.

The two boxers could clash in the future as both hold world titles in the lightweight division and Dubois wants to take on her British rival - who takes on Natalie Zimmerman on Friday night (23.05.25).

She told Sky Sports: "I haven't got a problem with Terri Harper. I'm a competitor. I'm a champion.

"This is what champions do, they go after the people in front of them with the belts, and that's what Terri's got so I want to go after her.

"She doesn't like the pressure, that's evident. She crumbles under the pressure. She doesn't like the pressure that I will be applying to her.

"She says she can't wait to get in my face. I can't wait to break her face and that's 100 per cent true."

For her part, Harper has said she is willing to take on Dubois once she has fought the unbeaten but unproven Zimmerman in her hometown of Doncaster.

She said: "I don't know what it is with Caroline Dubois or what her problem is, but I honestly can't wait to get paid to get in that girl's face.

"First I've got to get past Natalie Zimmerman, then if she wants it next she can have it."

Harper is determined to put in a "statement" performance as she takes on Zimmerman, who will be competing outside of her native Germany for the first time.

She said: "I've got the fire in me, the self-belief, the love for boxing.

"I'm hungry again and if I don't get a statement win here on Friday night, I'll be disappointed."
