Ryder Cup 2027 dates confirmed

Ryder Cup 2027 dates confirmed

Dates for the 2027 Ryder Cup golf competition have been confirmed.

The biennial event - which sees teams from Europe and the United States go head-to-head in venues that alternate between the continent and North America - will take place at Adare Manor, a five-star hotel in Limerick, Ireland, from September 17 to September 19.

Four "build-up days" are set to take place between September 13 and September 16.

The 2027 competition will mark the Ryder Cup's 100th anniversary.

Guy Kinnings, DP World Tour chief executive, said: "Rory McIlroy's victory in the Masters last month to complete the career Grand Slam, combined with the anticipation of July's Open Championship (at Royal Portrush), has already heightened the buzz around golf on the island of Ireland.

"This announcement will add to that excitement as Ireland continues its preparation to host golf's greatest team competition for the second time in 2027 when the Ryder Cup celebrates its 100th anniversary."

Ireland last hosted the contest at the K Club in County Kildare in 2006, when Europe won against the USA.

The 2025 Ryder Cup is taking place at Bethpage Black in New York from September 26 to September 28.
