Tyson Fury hints at Oleksandr Usyk trilogy fight

Tyson Fury appears to have announced a return to boxing on social media by revealing a trilogy fight with Oleksandr Usyk.

The Gypsy King called time on his career in the ring earlier this year following his rematch loss to Usyk at the end of 2024 but has now declared that he will take on the Ukrainian for a third time at Wembley Stadium.

Posting a picture of the pair, Fury wrote: "April 18 2026 Wembley Stadium. The trilogy!"

Fury has fuelled speculation about a comeback by regularly posting footage of himself training on social media and claimed that he would be tempted to get back into the ring if he could fight Usyk in the UK after feeling that he did enough to win both previous fights.

He said: "If I was going to come back, I would come back for Usyk, but I want a fair result in England. That would be the fight I want next.

"I don't want any favours, I want a fair fight and a fair result which I know I didn't get. I thought I won that second fight by five rounds. I watched it literally 250 times and each way, I never see there's a way he won. But, they can do what they want."

Fury's trilogy bout with Usyk is dependent on the result of the Ukrainian's unification fight against Daniel Dubois at Wembley Stadium later this month but the former world champion doesn't think his compatriot has a chance against the unbeaten pugilist.

He said: "I don't think Dubois wins anyway. Your man is a wily old fox and he moves his feet.

"We all know that, if you stand in front of Daniel Dubois, he will put a hole in you.

"If you move around him, he will probably take a knee after about eight rounds, off a jab."
