The Barcelona star, 27, triumphed at the Theatre du Chatelet in Paris, on Monday (22.09.25), and she was presented with the prestigious prize by former Barcelona men's midfielder Andres Iniesta.
Bonmati paid tribute to the Catalan club, insisting she owes them "everything".
She told the crowd: "My third time in a row here, and I still can't believe it. Incredible. Thank you to France Football for this, for the third time - it really could have gone to anyone.
"If it was possible to share it I would, because I think it has been a year with an exceptionally high level, above all among my team-mates, who had a great year.
"Also to receive it from the hands of Andres Iniesta, one of my idols since I was little, alongside Xavi. I learned my football from them - to this day I thank them for all that they have taught me. Thank you to them for everything that they have done in football.
"I owe Barcelona everything - this is the club of my life. I hope to represent this badge for many more years."
Bonmati scored Ballon d'Or victory over her Spain teammate, Spanish star Mariona Caldentey, who finished second.
England's Lionesses were also well represented in the top 10, assuming half of the places, with Alessia Russo third, and Chloe Kelly fifth.
Leah Williamson, Lucy Bronze, and Hannah Hampton finished seventh, ninth and 10th respectively, and Hampton took home the women's Yashin Trophy, which was awarded to the best goalkeeper of the season.
She said: "I’d like to say a massive thank you to France Football for this award.
"I don't think it's an achievement for me, I think it's an achievement for women's goalkeeping that the award is finally now taking part.
"I stand on the shoulders of so many great goalkeepers of the past, sitting alone with my fellow nominees. It's an honour to be a part of such an incredible group and the aspiring keepers of the future generation coming through and training so hard.
"I'd love to just thank my family, my brother who's here tonight, for all the sacrifices that you made growing up, driving me around everywhere so I can fulfil my dream and be here tonight."
