Marcus Rashford is embracing Barcelona culture

Marcus Rashford is trying to immerse himself in the Barcelona lifestyle.

The England forward is on loan at Barca from Manchester United this season and he has embraced the culture in the Catalan city.

Rashford told BBC Sport: "It's different, but it's a great learning curve for me.

"And even little things, I've not done it completely yet, but learning the language and stuff like that, learning the culture, it's all enjoyable for me."

Rashford explained that Barcelona was his "favourite club outside of England" growing up and he does not find it "a pressure" turning out for the La Liga giants.

He said: "I don't see anything here as like a pressure. It's just, I'm here to play football.

"It's been amazing. I feel welcome, I feel at home. I've just been enjoying every step of the way."

The striker is enjoying the experience of playing football in a different league and environment after falling out of favour at United under manager Ruben Amorim.

Rashford said: "It's a new language of football. I've always been, like many people in the world, an admirer of Spanish football.

"To play for the biggest club in Spain is a huge honour. I'm looking forward to playing more games here, just doing my best and try to help the team to win."

Barca sit top of La Liga at present and Rashford knows that silverware is an expectation at Camp Nou.

He said: "It's a club that demands this.

"The environment is always pushing us to be the best players we can be so it's perfect to be in a place like this as a player."
