Oumar Niasse remains with Everton

Everton striker Oumar Niasse is to stay with the club after his £7million switch to Crystal Palace fell through due to agent fees.

Niasse was all set for a move to London and he travelled down south to pass a medical and agree personal terms.

The deal was just hours away from completion after the two clubs agreed a fee but he will now remain at Goodison Park alongside midfielder Ross Barkley.

Niasse, who has scored five goals in 26 games for Everton and Hull since he arrived in England, will now resume training with the Toffees after Palace representatives failed to agree a deal with agent.

Both clubs had been hoping to complete the deal after been given an extension until 1am but he will now be looking to impress manager Ronald Koeman before reconsidering his future in the January transfer window.
