Sandro Ramirez eyeing further improvement

Everton forward Sandro Ramirez insists he can continue to improve as the Blues prepare for a "massive" game with Tottenham on Saturday.

The Spaniard was one of nine new arrivals at Goodison Park over the summer after agreeing a £5.2 million switch from Malaga.

However, he has endured a tough start to life in England after sustaining a heel injury on his Premier League debut against Stoke.

Sandro was forced to sit out the draw with Manchester City and the two leg meeting with Hajduk Split in the Europa League, although he did return to action for the defeat to Chelsea.

The 22-year-old has been recovering over the international break and he insists he feels 100 per cent fit ahead of Saturday's Premier League return at Goodison Park.

Sandro told Evertontv: "I wanted to use these two weeks to prepare and keep improving ahead of the Tottenham game.

"I have worked hard to prepare for the Spurs game which for us, in front of our fans, will be massive. I feel very positive about the team going into this match.

"The week before the Chelsea game I was not really resting, because I was training and preparing myself. I had two weeks of problems with my heel but I was looking forward to playing again when we went to Chelsea. Now I feel one hundred per cent and I want to be ready for the Spurs game."
