Jose Mourinho planning for future after United

Jose Mourinho has revealed that he does not plan to spend the rest of his managerial career with Manchester United.

The 'Special One' only took over the reins at Old Trafford during the summer of 2016, but he guided the Red Devils to three titles during his first season at the club, although they could only finish sixth in the Premier League.

The Manchester giants appear to be on course for a more successful season in the top-flight this term, as they are unbeaten after their opening eight matches of the campaign.

There has been talk that Mourinho, who signed a three-year contract upon his arrival in Manchester, could now be offered an extended deal and although there is no indication that he would reject that offer, he has confirmed that he will not end his managerial career at Old Trafford.

He told Telefoot: "The only thing I can say is that I am still a coach with worries, ambitions, desires to do new things.

"I'm sure I will not finish my career here [in Manchester]."
