Dave Rennie considering switching Glasgow focus

Glasgow Warriors boss Dave Rennie has admitted his side might have to switch their focus to the PRO14 after another defeat in Europe.

The Warriors were well beaten by 34-18 by Leinster at Scotstoun on Saturday to condemn the Scottish outfit to not a single point from their first two outings in the European Champions Cup.

With Glasgow making a perfect start to their PRO14 campaign, New Zealander Rennie believes his side might have to readdress their priorities for the season, with qualification to the Champions Cup knockout stages looking unlikely.

He was quoted by Sky Sports, saying: "We're clearly not where we want to be and it's a tough pool as it is, so we will reassess things based on that and where our injuries are at and whether we end up prioritising PRO14 ahead of this comp, we'll decide that in December."
