The Hornets have enjoyed a great start to the season and sit ninth in the Premier League, however, they have failed to win any of their last three outings.
Watford were desperate to get back to winning ways on Saturday after losing to Manchester United and drawing with Tottenham, however, their trip to Turf Moor proved very tricky.
Marvin Zeegelaar was shown a straight red card on 39 minutes before Scott Arfield scored the only goal of the game on the stroke of half time.
Marco Silva's side plugged away in the second half but failed to break down a well-organized Burnley on a cold day in Lancashire.
Kabasele believes Premier League teams are now very aware of Watford's style and insists they must come up with a different approach to find a way through.
"We have a style of play, we like to play football and other teams know this," Kabasele said.
"Maybe they try to stay behind the ball and cut out every pass, so we need to learn and progress if we want to take the next step forward.
"We'll need to find a solution against this type of opponent."
