Swans buoyed by Wilfried Bony fitness

Swansea have been handed a boost with Wilfried Bony set to be fit for their trip to Everton on Monday night.

The Ivorian striker was forced off during the Swans' defeat to Manchester City last time out due to muscle tightness but the 29-year-old is expected to make a return and start against the Toffees.

Meanwhile Wayne Routledge missed that encounter with the Premier League frontrunners City due to his own muscle problem but is also set to shrug off the injury and return to the action against Sam Allardyce's men.

Head coach Paul Clement knows how tough a trip to Goodison Park is and is expecting another difficult encounter under the lights on Merseyside.

He said: "I would always expect a difficult game at Everton. They have very passionate fans and they've picked up a couple of results, but if we play well, we'll have a chance."
