Dai Young revels in Lima Sogoaga swoop

Wasps boss Dai Young feels the club have secured a real talent after the news All Blacks fly-half Lima Sopoaga has agreed a deal.

The New Zealand stand-off, who has made his name in Super Rugby with the Highlanders, will join the Aviva Premiership side for next season and has effectively ruled himself out of selection for the 2019 World Cup due to the All Blacks' selection policy.

Having secured the services of the 26-year-old, who has been capped 16 times by the All Blacks, Young believes the club have done a great job to capture the talented playmaker.

He said: "When a world-class fly-half became available we jumped at the chance, as that doesn't happen very often.

"Lima's track record with the All Blacks, Highlanders and Southland speaks for itself."
