Agent cools talk of summer exit for Arsenal defender Hector Bellerin

Hector Bellerin's agent says no one has contacted him in regards to the Arsenal defender and cannot imagine him leaving this summer.

The Spaniard has bounced back to form this term after a disappointing 2016-17 season at the end of which he was heavily linked with a return to Barcelona, despite signing a six-and-a-half-year extension with the Gunners in 2016.

The rumors of a move away from the Emirates Stadium continue to encircle the 23-year-old, with Juventus, Napoli and Manchester United all thought to be monitoring his situation in north London closely.

A recent report had stated that Arsenal would be willing to listen to offers in the region of £50million for Bellerin in order to part-fund a summer revamp of the squad.

His agent Albert Botines has now played down talk Bellerin could be on his way at the end of the season although he did admit he would listen to offers from Italy if Juve and Napoli firmed up their reported interest.

"There's no contact for Bellerin, no one has sought me out," he told Radio CRC.

"He's happy, he's recently renewed and he's playing consistently. It's true that every player always wants to grow, but right now it's difficult [to see him leaving].

"If the Azzurri were interested in some of my clients I would listen, because - just like Juventus - Napoli are not only a great team in Italy but also now in Europe."
