Lloris hints at move before retirement

Captain Hugo Lloris does not expect to end his career with Tottenham but is not planning on leaving the club any time soon.

The France goalkeeper has been with the north Londoners since 2012 and made 211 Premier League appearances after ending Brad Friedel's run of 310 consecutive games in October of that year.

The 31-year-old has been one of the reasons why Spurs have moved up to a top-four side and his prowess between the posts has seen him linked with a few big clubs.

There has also been talk of the custodian returning to his hometown club Nice, but Lloris has a contract until 2022 and has hinted that he will honour those terms.

He has made no secret of his admiration for Mauricio Pochettino, but, asked in a question and answer session with French broadcaster Telefoot whether Tottenham will be his last club, he replied: "I don't think so."

That is certainly no indication that the World Cup-winning skipper wants to jump ship but suggests a possible return to Ligue 1 before he hangs up his gloves.
