European football's government body is set to meet next Thursday (23.04.20) to discuss hwo to complete the 2019-20 campaign after it was halted by the coronavirus pandemic.
The idea is still to complete the season as a whole - and play all oustanding games - which would mean the Europe League final in Gdansk on August 26, and the Champions League final following three days later.
One scenario for the latter could be to play both the quarter final and semi final rounds as normal as two-legged matches in July and August.
However, another option would see games played as one-off fixtures after the end of the domestic campaigns, which could see teams playing in a week-long mini tournament.
For the Europa League, things are less clear because none of the eight last 16 second-leg ties ahve been played, and two matches are still yet to play the first.
