Changing your password or personal data
Go to ‘My Account’ if you’d like to view or change your personal data or password. When checking your account settings, you’ll have to log in once more to change or view your information. You’ll also be able to add password recovery options, such as another email address or your mobile phone number.
Protect your GMX Mail account from unauthorized access
In order to provide you with instant access to your email, contacts, and message notifications, there is no logout option on the Android Mail app. However, you can still safeguard your emails and data from unauthorized access by locking the screen on your Android device, as well as by securing your Mail app with a personalized PIN. Activate the PIN protection option in ‘General settings’ and choose your own PIN and how often it should be requested.

Reset mobile access in the event of device theft or loss
It’s a good idea to reset mobile access if your Android device is stolen or lost. This means that your GMX account needs your login data in order to be accessed. Look for ‘Security’ under the ‘My Account’ section on the left of the menu. You can then reset your login data for your GMX Android Mail app.
