It was recently revealed the company had a new page on its website called Claude Explains, in which their AI model family, Claude, was “writing on every topic under the sun".
However, the blog is no longer available, and attempts to access it will see users redirected to their homepage.
A source told TechCrunch that the blog was a "pilot" for Anthropic’s own team.
Just last week, a spokesperson clarified that "human expertise" was still required as part of the Claude Explains editorial process.
The spokesperson told TechCrunch: "This isn’t just vanilla Claude output - the editorial process requires human expertise and goes through iterations."
What's more, there were also "subject matter experts and editorial teams" who were "enhancing" Claude's writing prior to publication.
The spokesperson added: "From a technical perspective, Claude Explains shows a collaborative approach where Claude [creates] educational content, and our team reviews, refines, and enhances it.
"Claude Explains is an early example of how teams can use AI to augment their work and provide greater value to their users."
