Call of Duty Black Ops 7 billed as 'most mind-bending Black Ops ever'

Call of Duty: Black Ops 7 has been confirmed and billed as the "most mind-bending Black Ops ever".

The game's official website revealed Black Ops 7 will be set in 2035 when the world is "on the brink of chaos", more than 40 years after the events of Black Ops 6.

Matt Cox, General Manager of Call of Duty, claims the gameplay in the new title is "exceptional".

He said: "The Black Ops universe is amazing. The creativity and imagination that goes into the storytelling, the rich character depth, and the incredible moment-to-moment gameplay across all modes is really exceptional.

"As a team, our vision from the start was to create a back-to-back series experience for our players that embraced the uniqueness of the Black Ops sub-franchise."

Gamers will be able to go solo on the game, or join forces with pals in the Co-op Campaign.

What's more, the Multiplayer experience is "packed with brand-new maps".

Matt added: "It delivers the full Call of Duty package for our players, and we can't wait to show the community more of what the studio teams have been working on when we reveal later this summer."

Call of Duty: Black Ops 7 is scheduled for release on Xbox Series X|S, Xbox One, PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4, and on PC via Xbox PC, Battle.net and Steam. Also, play on day one on Game Pass Ultimate or PC Game Pass.
