The budget airline suspended all flights to the region after its request to be charged Terminal 1 passenger rates until the lower-cost terminal reopens was denied by Ben Gurion International Airport earlier this year but now they have announced that the airport have reopened the terminal.
In a statement, RyanAir said: "It is great news that Ben Gurion Airport is re-opening Terminal 1, which has enabled Ryanair to resume our Tel Aviv operations from Mon, 3rd June, with 40 weekly flights to/from key markets such as Cyprus, Germany, Greece, and Italy available to book now at ryanair.com.
Earlier this year, it was reported that RyanAir had cancelled all flights to Israle as war broke out. But Ryanair issued the following response:
"Ryanair today (Feb 13) confirmed that it has regrettably canceled its reduced schedule of flights to/from Tel Aviv from Tues, 27 Feb due to the Ben-Gurion International Airport's low-cost Terminal 1 no longer being accessible for low cost, low fare airlines. Ryanair previously operated to the low-cost Terminal 1, which has not yet been re-opened, with high-cost Terminal 3 being the only terminal currently open at Ben-Gurion International Airport
