While momentum is building toward the opening of World of Frozen and Adventure Way at Walt Disney Studios Park - soon to be renamed Disney Adventure World - next spring, several other projects are already taking shape across the destination.
One of the most notable additions will arrive at Frontierland by the end of summer 2026, when guests aboard the Rivers of the Far West will encounter newly added scenes along the route.
The enhancements at Thunder Mesa Riverboat Landing are inspired by original drawings from Disney Legend Marc Davis and will include newly designed figures such as a buffalo on the prairie, along with raccoons and a skunk drifting past on a floating log.
These updates will be experienced from the recently refurbished Molly Brown riverboat.
Over in Walt Disney Studios Park, improvements are underway around The Twilight Zone Tower of Terror.
A new covered outdoor waiting area is scheduled to open in spring 2026, expanding the attraction’s storytelling by evoking the remains of the Hollywood Tower Hotel’s once-glamorous patio and pool area.
Carefully selected materials and Pueblo Deco-inspired details will help immerse guests in the building’s eerie backstory before they enter the ride.
Nearby, a new merchandise location inspired by 1930s Californian flower shops will open in early 2026.
Designed to blend seamlessly into World Premiere Plaza, the boutique will feature period props, historic imagery and themed details that reinforce the area’s Art Deco aesthetic.
A major refurbishment is also underway at Ratatouille: L’Aventure Totalement Toquée de Rémy, which closed for upgrades in October 2025.
The project includes technical improvements, enhanced projections and new large-scale props, as well as a refreshed queue featuring a detailed Parisian artist’s studio scene.
Beyond the parks, Disney Village will see Annette’s Diner close temporarily from January 5, 2026 for a full interior refurbishment, while Disney Sequoia Lodge will begin a phased renovation aimed at elevating its nature-inspired design - all while remaining open to guests.
Together, these projects signal a significant year of evolution for Disneyland Paris, with further announcements expected as plans continue to develop.
