P+O Ferries announce music-themed cruises

P&O Ferries have announced a series of music-themed cruises.

The British-based company that operates ferries from the United Kingdom to continental Europe has announced three special mini cruises where music is the order of the day.

The Northern Soul Mini Cruise to Rotterdam will start on November 20 whilst the Elvis and Buddy Mini Cruise to Amsterdam - which focuses on the music of Elvis Presley and Buddy Holly - starts on November 12, with fares from just £69 per person.

The Great Mini Cruise to Rotterdam, which starts on November 15, promises all the greatest music, greatest movies and the greatest show with the "entertainment team will perform an all singing, all dancing extravaganza which is all about feeling good and being you".

The 80s Party Mini Cruise to Amsterdam starts on December 13 and promises a whole host of "songs that make you reminisce" including Queen, The Proclaimers, Soft Cell and Bryan Adams. There will also be a performance from Spandau Ballet tribute band, True Gold.

Sarah Rosier, Director of Passenger Sales for P&O Ferries, said: "We're thrilled to unveil our calendar of themed mini cruises, bringing new events, as well as old favourites to the North Sea throughout winter 2019, following their success in previous years. The holiday starts the moment you get on board and we encourage fans to book early to avoid disappointment."
