Bud, 37, is set to get in the ring with Canelo, 34, on September 13 in Las Vegas for the undisputed super-middleweight title, and Bradley, 41, has told Crawford to avoid being hit by his opponent as “we don’t need to see your toughness”.
Speaking on his YouTube channel, Bradley said: “I would advise Crawford not to get hit by Canelo. We don’t need to see your toughness.
“We need to see your brilliance. You’re going to need to use every skill in your entire body to beat this man, Canelo. He’s coming. Whenever someone is fighting you, Crawford, they’re going to be really.”
The former boxer added Crawford would be “outnumbered” on September 13 considering the fight will take place near Mexican Independence Day - which is on September 16 - and said Bud had “everything to lose” in the bout.
Bradley said: “All the Mexicans are going to be out. You’re going to be hell of outnumbered.
“This is going to be a fight to remember. This is about legacy for Crawford. Not more so for Canelo Alvarez. He has everything to lose.”
Canelo recently said he believed his superior size and power could prove too much for Crawford - who will be stepping up two weight classes from 154 lbs to 168 lbs - to handle.
He said at their face-off on Sunday (22.06.25) in New York: “I've been not favorite, a favorite. I've been in both situations but I'm going to be very disciplined. I'm going to put my best in the training camp.
“This is not an easy fight because [Crawford is] moving up and everything. I've been in that situation and that doesn't matter when you are a great fighter.
“I have experience, power and I believe I have advantages on my weight. It's going to be a good fight but I'm here to win.”
