Robert Lewandowski excited to play with Marcus Rashford and Lamine Yamal at Barcelona

Robert Lewandowski is eyeing more success at Barcelona alongside Marcus Rashford and Lamine Yamal.

Barca have bolstered their attack by signing Rashford on a season-long loan from Manchester United and the experienced Polish striker has lauded the arrival of the "very talented" player.

Lewandowski said: "Rashford is a very talented player. We played Manchester United two years ago and he was in great form.

"He can help us and is able to play in different positions."

Yamal - who celebrated his 18th birthday earlier this month - has already established himself as one of the world's top players and Lewandowski feels there is even more to come from the Spanish wonderkid.

The forward joked: "He is not a child anymore, he's an adult.

"I am sure he can do better than he did last year."

Barca won a domestic treble in their debut season under Hansi Flick last term and Lewandowski believes that the squad is even stronger this time around.

He said: "We had a great squad last season, but we are in another position now.

"I think we are stronger than last year because the first year with Hansi Flick was new for many players, but everyone now knows where we need to go."

Rashford completed his loan move to the Catalan club last week and spoke of his excitement at getting to play in a team where "dreams come true".

The England international told Barca TV: "Yeah very excited, it's a club where people's dreams come true, they win big prizes and what the club stands for really means a lot to me as well.

"It feels like I'm at home and this is a big factor in my choice to come here because for me it's a family club and people are comfortable here and it's a good place for good players to showcase their skills."
