Lupesoliai La'auliolemalietoa 33, will clash with the Barista, 30, on Saturday (10.25.25) at London’s O2 Arena, and Parker has vowed to leave his opponent on the canvas.
Speaking at a press conference, he said: “I've got many miles on the clock and I've got many more to bring.
“I'm only getting into my prime now. Credit to Wardley for taking this fight, but it's the wrong time to be taking this fight because I'm going to smash him.”
The heavyweight star added he was on “a different level” when compared to Wardley.
When asked what he meant, Parker teased: “You'll see. I don't want to explain with words, I'll explain with actions on Saturday night.”
Even so, The Barista is not phased by his opponent's comments.
He said: “For me it's nothing new. I relish the challenge. I look forward to stepping up. Proving people wrong, proving doubters wrong, and that I belong very much at this top level.”
Although Parker is going into the fight as the favorite to win, Wardley thinks his knockout record of 18 out of 19 wins will cause a major upset.
He said: “Just because my record is littered with highlight-reel knockouts, I think people get distracted by that and take away my actual boxing skills which set up those punches or brought me to those moments.
“If you think I'll be running around that ring with my right hand ready to go, then there's a lot more you and the team will need to prepare for.”
Parker is currently the WBO’s No. 1 contender and will become the mandatory challenger to current heavyweight champion Oleksandr Usyk’s, 38, title if he defeats Wardley.
Looking to the potential fight with The Cat, Parker said he was confident he could strip Usyk of his WBO belt.
He told Sky Sports: “I do feel that I'm levels above Fabio and that's what I want to show on Saturday night. I've fought everyone there is and I want to go out there and show the level that I'm at compared to where he's at.
“I've achieved a lot in the world of boxing, being world champion and fought all the big names but I feel like I'm only coming into my prime now and I feel like this is my time now to take over.
“Usyk is a target for every heavyweight, he's got all the belts so I need to get this fight right.
“I know what I can do in the ring and if I do it well, I'll get the win, and I can beat every heavyweight out there, but it all starts this weekend and Usyk is the target after that.”
